Terms of service

1. Vehicle Information

The leased vehicle (“Vehicle”) details, including year, make, model, VIN, and mileage, will be provided at the time of booking and delivery.

Customer acknowledges:

  • Odometer reading is accurate at lease start

  • Customer is responsible for all mileage during lease

  • Excess mileage, abnormal wear, or value reduction may result in additional charges

  • Odometer tampering is a material breach and may result in immediate repossession and legal liability under New Jersey law

2. RentalTerm

  • Minimum lease term: 30 days

  • After the initial period, the lease continues on a week-to-week basis unless terminated according to these Terms.

3. Payments

Weekly Payment

Lease payments are due in advance on a weekly basis.

Down Payment

A non-refundable down payment is required prior to vehicle Rental.
This payment does not apply toward weekly lease charges unless stated otherwise in writing.

Automatic Payments

By booking, Customer authorizes recurring automatic payments via:

  • Credit card

  • Debit card

  • ACH / bank withdrawal

  • Other approved electronic method

Customer must maintain valid payment information at all times.

Late Fees

  • Payments not received by the due date incur a $50 daily late fee

  • Late fees begin the day after payment is due

  • Late fees accrue daily until paid in full

4. Permitted Use of Vehicle

Customer agrees:

  • To use the Vehicle only for lawful purposes

  • Not to sublease, transfer, or sell the Vehicle

  • Not to use the Vehicle for illegal activity

  • To comply with all federal, state, and local laws

Customer is fully responsible for all use of the Vehicle.

5. Vehicle Condition & Maintenance

The Vehicle is provided AS IS.

Customer is responsible for:

  • All maintenance and repairs

  • Oil changes, tires, brakes, and mechanical issues

  • All damage, cosmetic or mechanical

The Company is not responsible for:

  • Breakdowns

  • Mechanical failure

  • Wear and tear

Mandatory Monthly Inspection

Customer must return the Vehicle once per month for:

  • Oil change

  • Safety inspection

Failure to comply constitutes breach of agreement.

6. Damage, Loss & Liability

Customer is fully responsible for:

  • Any damage to the Vehicle

  • Theft or vandalism

  • Diminished value

  • Towing, storage, or impound fees

  • Repair or replacement costs regardless of fault

7. Tickets, Tolls & Violations

Customer is responsible for:

  • Parking tickets

  • Traffic violations

  • Camera violations

  • Tolls and administrative fees

Any charges billed to the Company must be reimbursed immediately.

8. Insurance Requirement

Customer must maintain active primary auto insurance covering the Vehicle at all times, including:

  • Liability

  • Collision

  • Comprehensive

Customer insurance is primary coverage.
Failure to maintain insurance may result in immediate termination and repossession.

9. GPS Tracking Disclosure

Vehicles may be equipped with GPS tracking devices used for:

  • Theft prevention

  • Vehicle recovery

  • Location in case of default or non-payment

By Renting, Customer consents to such tracking.

10. Excess Mileage Charges

Excess mileage is calculated monthly during the required inspection.
All assessed mileage charges are due immediately.

11. Default & Repossession

If payment is not received:

  • Day 1 after due date → Daily late fee begins

  • Day 2 after due date → Vehicle must be returned

  • Day 3 after due date → Vehicle may be repossessed at Customer’s expense

Customer is responsible for all repossession-related costs.
Customer waives prior notice where permitted by New Jersey law.

12. Indemnification

Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Wheels On Auto Inc. from any claims, damages, losses, or legal expenses arising from:

  • Vehicle use

  • Accidents or injuries

  • Violations of law

  • Breach of these Terms

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the full agreement between the Company and Customer.
Any modifications must be in writing.

15. Acceptance of Terms

By booking, reserving, or taking possession of a vehicle, Customer confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
